Mrs. Hannah Holland, aged 79 years, passed away at her home near Finchford, Iowa, on Monday afternoon, March 25th, death being due to heart trouble and complications with which the aged lady has been afflicted for the past three years. Mrs. Hannah Holland, aged 79 years, passed away at her home near Finchford, Iowa, on Monday afternoon, March 25th, death being due to heart trouble and complications with which the aged lady has been afflicted for the past three years. The deceased was born in County Cork, Ireland, on April 5, 1850. She is survived by three sons and three daughters, Timothy, who has lived with his mother, Edward of Waterloo, and John of this city, Mrs. Nell Leary of Dubuque, and Elisabeth and Mayme, who have resided with and cared for their mother. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held from St. Mary's Catholic church on Wednesday morning of which church the deceased lady was a very devout member. Solemn requiem High Mass was celebrated by her nephew, Rev. Father Leo Flynn, of Denver, CO; another nephew, Louis Flynn, who is studying for the priesthood, served as master of ceremonies, Rev. T. R. Collias, local pastor, as deacon, and Rev. J. C. Weinecke, of Cedar Falls, as sub deacon. Interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery beside her husband, Timothy Holland, who passed away several years ago.
