He had been bedfast about six weeks. He was born Sept. 11, 1866, at Sonnefelt, a suburb of Coburg, Germany, son of Dr. Friederick Greiner and Caroline Eller. His father died when he was 14 years of age and a short time after, Mr. Greiner came to the United States and to Utica, N. Y.. where he lived with his brother, Christ Greiner. Read More	Hans F. His father died when he was 14 years of age and a short time after, Mr. Greiner came to the United States and to Utica, N. Y.. where he lived with his brother, Christ Greiner. Approximately seven years later, Mr. Greiner came to Lanham, Nebr. He was married Feb. 2, 1892, at Hanover, Kan., to Miss Flora Koch, and they made their home in Lanham until about 1900 when they moved to Columbus where Mr. Greiner had since lived. Mrs. Greiner preceded him in death in 1922. A well-known resident here. Mr. Greiner had been in the grocery business in Columbus about 20 years. He retired from business in 1925. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church and at one time was a charter member of the Maennechor Society. Mr. Greiner is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry Williams and Mrs. Walter Brenneman, both of Columbus; three sons, Chris and Hans Greiner. both of Columbus, and Ernest Greiner of Scribner; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Monday at the Trinity Lutheran church with Rev. Herman Goede, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Columbus cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Gass funeral home from 10 a. m. Sunday until 1:30 p. m. Monday when it will be taken to the church.
