Description	:	Boone County Democrat July 18, 1912 Boone Iowa Hans Brammer was born March 2, 1823, in Norder-Stopel, Schleswig, Germany. He came to America with his wife and two children in 1873. Three grown children of his had come here before him. After farming on a small scale for fifteen years he retired and moved to Ogden. In 1890 his only son, a pioneer merchant of Ogden, and husband of Mrs. Fannie Brammer passed away, and in 1894 his beloved wife. Read More	Boone County Democrat July 18, 1912 Boone Iowa Hans Brammer was born March 2, 1823, in Norder-Stopel, Schleswig, Germany. He came to America with his wife and two children in 1873. Three grown children of his had come here before him. After farming on a small scale for fifteen years he retired and moved to Ogden. In 1890 his only son, a pioneer merchant of Ogden, and husband of Mrs. Fannie Brammer passed away, and in 1894 his beloved wife. After this he was compelled to make his home with his children, during the last four years with Mrs. Thiessen, of Walnut, Iowa, where he passed away June 28th, after having attained the ripe age of nearly 90 years. The remains were shipped her last Sunday. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Boehm at Zion’s Lutheran church in Ogden July 1, at 2:30 p.m., and interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery. He has three daughters, Mrs. Thiessan of Walnut, Iowa, Mrs. Hohnholtz of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Mrs. Fisher of Los Angeles, California.
