He has been critically ill since December 1st. He grew up in the community east of Elba and became a farmer. On December 12th, 1923, he married Marguerite Bradley at Elba. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Martin and George; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Jensen and Mrs. Alice Huber and an infant child. Surviving him are his wife, Marguerite of St. Paul; a son Sp. 5 Raymond Dale Hansen of St. Paul; two daughters, Mrs. Roman (Lois) Miller of Wolbach and Mrs. Gordon (Alice) Scarborough of Grand Island; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Herman of Stromsburg and Raymond of Cotesfield; six sisters, Mrs. Anna Clark of North Platte, Mrs. Edith Woodmancy of Holyoke, Colorado, Mrs. Signa Swahn of Omaha, Mrs. Eleanor Floyd of Lancaster, Missouri, Mrs. Agnes Stiefvater and Mrs. Elfie Appel both of Loveland, Colorado and many other relatives and friends.
