Rodabaugh Johnston. ----------------------------- Fairfield (Ia.) Daily Ledger Friday January 10, 1936 Pg. 8 Col. 3 H.B. JOHNSTON, 61, IS DEAD LIBERTYVILLE Jan. 10 - Harley B. Johnston, 61, died at his home here yesterday, following a short illness. He came to Jefferson county when he was 18 years old, having been born at Utica. He had been a farmer his entire life, and had moved to Libertyville last May. Forty-two years ago he joined the Brethren church. One son, Mahlon D., preceded him in death three years ago. He is survived by his wife, Anna, and two sons, Roy and Charles of Batavia, and one daughter, Mrs. Leo Emmack of Batavia. Surviving also are five brothers, Frank of Upton, Wyo., George of Kansas City, Mo., John of Oskaloosa, Grover and Curtis of Birmingham, and one sister, Mrs. Cora Bunch of Denver, Colo. The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Libertyville Brethren church, in charge of Rev. Charles O. Allbine of Ottumwa. The body was taken to the W.W. Campbell funeral home in Batavia, where it will remain until 12:30 Saturday. Burial will be in the Brethren cemetery.
