Description	:	Mrs. Henry Greenfield, nee Hermina Lente, was born Aug. 10, 1860 in Ditzman, Hammerich, Ostfriesland. At the age of six years she came with her parents to America. The family lived for one year at Columbus, Ohio. From there they came to Foreston, Ill., where she grew up and where she was united in marriage to Henry Greenfield in 1881. Mrs. Greenfield, with her husband joined the First Presbyterian church at Kamrar and... Read More	Mrs. Henry Greenfield, nee Hermina Lente, was born Aug. 10, 1860 in Ditzman, Hammerich, Ostfriesland. At the age of six years she came with her parents to America. The family lived for one year at Columbus, Ohio. From there they came to Foreston, Ill., where she grew up and where she was united in marriage to Henry Greenfield in 1881. In the fall of the same year the young couple came to Hamilton county to make their home. This union was blessed with seven children, two dying in infancy. Mrs. Greenfield, with her husband joined the First Presbyterian church at Kamrar and had been a loyal and faithful member. Mr. Greenfield died 10 years ago. Although Mrs. Greenfield never complained she had been suffering for a number of years from old age and other complications. She bore her lot with Christian fortitude until at length on Monday evening, April 19 [1936], the Lord released her from her suffering at the age of 76 years, eight months, nine days. She leaves to mourn her departure her five surviving children Mrs. Fred Welp, of Blairsburg; Simon, Eilt and Jennie at home and Mrs. H. Johnson, of Ackley; two grandchildren and one great grandchild, three brothers, Fred, Harm, Dick Lente and two sisters, Mrs. H. Naber and Mrs. Dana Klarr, besides many other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 22 with short services in the home and at the Presbyterian church, east of Kamrar, conducted by her pastor, H. F. Sinning.
