Description	:	Our beloved father, Harold Mailloux, of Waterville, Maine, went to join the Lord and others that passed before him on July 19, 2014, with his family at his side. Harold was 83. Harold was a resident of Waterville the majority of his life. He was born on Nov. 4, 1930, at 12 Edgemont Ave. He was the son of Joseph and Marie Mailloux. Harold enjoyed the company of his daughters, and he loved music and enjoyed going to musical events. Music was a large part of his life as he played, by ear, the guitar, harmonica and violin.... Read More	Our beloved father, Harold Mailloux, of Waterville, Maine, went to join the Lord and others that passed before him on July 19, 2014, with his family at his side. Harold was 83. Harold was a resident of Waterville the majority of his life. He was born on Nov. 4, 1930, at 12 Edgemont Ave. He was the son of Joseph and Marie Mailloux. Harold enjoyed the company of his daughters, and he loved music and enjoyed going to musical events. Music was a large part of his life as he played, by ear, the guitar, harmonica and violin. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed cats, baseball, playing horseshoes and cribbage. He was a member of the Sacred Heart and Notre Dame churches. He enjoyed spending time at the Muskie Center. He was employed by the Waterville School System as a custodian, for 23 years and retired in 1992. Harold was a veteran of the Korean War, in the Army, serving as quartermaster in 1952-1953. He was recently presented with a letter of appreciation and medal to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Korean War ending with a peace treaty. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Donald; his mother and father, Joseph and Marie Louise Veilleux Mailloux; wife Jeannette Cloutier Mailloux; daughter Patricia Mailloux; son Burt Mailloux; and sisters Yvette Dumont, Dorothy "Dot" Lamontagne, Lorette Greaves and Doris LeGendre. He will always remain in our hearts but will be sadly missed by his daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and Robin Cook, Theresa and Don Moore, and Tiffani and John Roberts; his sister, Gladys Matte; his grandchildren, Jenni, Rob, Roman, Laurie-Anne, Patrick and Andrew; and his great-grandchildren, Jessica, David, Linda, Brandon and Julianne. The family would like to thank The Barron Center staff and nurses for their compassion, kindness and care of Harold while he was in their facility and thank them for all they did for him to improve his quality of life. We appreciate all of you. God bless. A service will be held at Notre Dame Church, 112 Silver St., in Waterville, then procede to St. Francis Cemetery. Harold (and his mother) tolerated an unusual facial pain disease called Trigeminal Neuralgia (Tic-Douloureux).
