Description	:	The funeral for Harold E. "Buck" Follman, 72, longtime Towner rancher, will be held Wed. at 1 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Towner. Interment will be in the Leeds Lutheran Cemetery. He died Dec. 16, 1994 of natural causes at the home of his granddaughter in Fargo. The Anderson Funeral Home of Towner is in charge of arrangements. Harold E. Harold E. "Buck" Follman was born May 13, 1922 on a farm north of York to Clarence & Marguerite Johnson Follman. He was reared on the family farm & graduated from York High School. He attended college in Minnesota for a year & then returned to farming & ranching until he entered the Army Air Force in 1944. He married Doris Conway July 26, 1948 in Miles City, Mont. They lived in the Towner area where they ranched. She died March 22, 1988. He continued to live & ranch in the Towner area until Sept. of 1994 when he moved to Fargo to live with his granddaughter, Cathy Cox. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Towner. He was a McHenry County Commisssioner & a member of the flood board, the American Legion at Towner, the ND Stockmen's Assn. & the Towner Ranchers Scale Assn. Survivors include 2 sons & a daughter-in-law, Ken R. & Irene Follman of Towner & Dennis Follman of Grafton; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bruce Follman of Seattle, Wash.; & a sister, Charlene Ongstad of Towner. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; 3 brothers, Dutch, Jack & Ted; & a sister Lorraine.
