Description	:	"The funeral for Harold E. Miller, 75, of Fremont will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Nazarene in Fremont. He died Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, at Fremont Area Medical Center. He was born Oct. 29, 1929, in Atkinson to Earl and Opal “Goldie” (Sorey) Miller. He grew up in Atkinson and moved to Fremont at age 17. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from Nov. 16, 1951, to Oct. 28, 1953, as a corporal with the Army Engineers 804th Aviation Battalion. He was a member of American Legion Post 71 at Arlington, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 200 of Fremont and was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 854 of Fremont. Survivors include: his wife; two daughters, Carol (Mrs. Lyle) Fenske and Judy Sharrai, all of Fremont; two sons, Jeff Miller of Raleigh, N.C., and Robert (and wife, Anne) Miller of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; a brother-in-law, Vernon Wigent of Firestone, Colo.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Donald, three sisters, Shirley Miller, Judy Wyatt and Vera Wigent, and a son-in-law, Charles Sharrai. The Rev. Tom Shaw will officiate Wednesday's service. Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont and will continue one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Fremont with military graveside services conducted by the Fremont Honor Guard of VFW Post 854 and American Legion Post 20. Pallbearers will be Leonard Jackson, Duane Kiekow, Dalvin Scheer, Lyle Fenske, Robert White and Pete Carnahan. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society."
