Hospital, Bridgewater, of Harold Falkenham of Baker Settlement, at the age of 62 years, less three days. Hospital, Bridgewater, of Harold Falkenham of Baker Settlement, at the age of 62 years, less three days. Although in failing health for many months, he bore his illness with great patience and Christian fortitude. Harold, a farmer and woodsman all his life, was a quiet, honest, hard-working man of sterling character. He was a good husband and father and took a great interest in his family and home. He had many friends and neighbours who he always enjoyed and welcomed. He departed, trusting the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour. He was the son of Talmage Falkenham and the late Bessie (Hirtle) Falkenham, of West Clifford. He leaves to mourn their loss, his sorrowing wife, Hazel (Wile); two sons, Rayburn of Baker Settlement; and Peter, residing at home; his father, Talmage Falkenham; and one brother, Lowell, both of West Clifford; three grandchildren, Darlene, Melburne, and Jonathan Falkenham. His mother predeceased him in 1952. Funeral service was held on December 4, from the Union Church at Baker Settlement, with his pastor, Rev.D. Irvine of the New Canada Baptist Church officiating, assisted by Pastor J. Hooper, a friend of the family, who offered prayer. Pastor Irvine based his message on St.John's Gospel, Chapter 6, with particular reference to Verse 37, a favourite of the deceased. Hymns sung were "Does Jesus Care" and "My Saviour First of All."
