Description	:	Harold Ringstmeyer was born January 10, 1921, on the family homestead in Tripp County, South Dakota to Fred and Anna (Ninnemann) Ringstmeyer He was baptized into the Trinity Lutheran Church and confirmed on June 9, 1935. Following his graduation from the eighth grade, Harold worked on the family farm until October 9, 1942, at which time he enlisted in the United States Navy. Read More	Harold Ringstmeyer was born January 10, 1921, on the family homestead in Tripp County, South Dakota to Fred and Anna (Ninnemann) Ringstmeyer He was baptized into the Trinity Lutheran Church and confirmed on June 9, 1935. Following his graduation from the eighth grade, Harold worked on the family farm until October 9, 1942, at which time he enlisted in the United States Navy. He served as storekeeper, second class on several ships until he was honorably discharged on April 6, 1946. He then returned to Tripp County to farm. On January 22 1949, Harold married June J. Horst in Mission. To this union four children were born. Harold was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Winner and served on the church council for several years. He also served on the Rielly District #41 school board. He was a 4-H Leader, a member of American Legion Clem Mortenson Post #169 and a member of Veterans Foreign Wars Post #4674. He was an avid sportsman who loved the out outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Keeping up with his grandchildren's activities and being there to guide them was an important part of his life the past few years. He is survived by his wife, June; son, Bill (Kris) Ringstmeyer and their children, Lisa (Tony) Dorschner, Ray, Gail, Phillip and Mary Beth; daughter, Kathy (Jim) Cahoy and their children Ryan and C.J.; daughter, Judy (Ron) McCready and their children, Courtney, Tyler and Zachary all of Winner; daughter, Carol (Lon) Edwards of Brandon and their children, Jamie, Laci and Sheena; a brother, Robert (Ferne) of Winner; two sisters, Viola Hasskarl of Lincoln, NE and LaVerne Sieck of Malcolm, NE; besides a host of other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents; five brothers, Fred, Henry, William, Karl and Leonard; and one sister, Alma.
