Read More	Obituary, from the Eureka, California, Times-Standard, 24 Nov 1992: HAROLD H. HAHN-- Harold H. Hahn died Nov. 22, 1992, in Eureka at age 77, following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Grand Mound, Iowa, and a resident of Eureka. Harold had been a resident of this area since 1968. Harold was a past member of the Eureka Host Lions Club and a longtime active member and supporter of AA in Eureka. He had worked as a pre-need sales counselor for more than 18 years with Ocean View Cemetery and Chapel of the Ferns, retiring from Homesteaders Life Insurance Co. in 1988. He is survived by his longtime personal friend, Kay Bates of Eureka; four sons, Charles R. Hahn and his wife, Amber, of Yakima, Wash., Wayne Hahn and his wife, Sharon, of Bellingham, Wash., Jerry Hahn and his wife, Kathy, of Carlton, Wash., and David Hahn of Bellingham, Wash.; four daughters, Joni Hubbard of Eureka, Norma Pagel and her husband, Dick, of Olalla, Wash., Janice Gould and her husband, Brad, of Lynden, Wash., and Lee Ann Walstrom and her husband, Michael, of Fortuna; three sisters, Ruth Schau and her husband, Ronald, of Mammoth, Iowa, Mary Lou Rathje and her husband, Dale, of Grand Mound, Iowa, and Marcella O'Brien of Salem, Ore.; 35 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hahn, in 1982; and his brother, Johnny Hahn. Friends are invited to attend funeral services at Chapel of the Ferns, Cooper Mortuary, Eureka, on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1992, at 10 a.m. James M. Brown will officiate. Private interment will be at Ocean View Cemetery, Eureka. Honorary Bearers will be Don Frisbee, Stan Howe, Dr. Gary Jaeger, Rich DeLorme and Don Davenport. Visitation will be today from 3 to 5 p.rn. and 7 to 8:30 p.rn. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Ferns, Cooper Mortuary, Eureka. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
