Walt Wolff officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery, north of Hazen. Harold was born Feb. 2, 1921, north of Hazen to Rudolph and Mary (Reinhardt) Miller. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. CST Saturday, Jan. 7, at Peace Lutheran Church, Hazen, with the Rev. Walt Wolff officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery, north of Hazen. Harold was born Feb. 2, 1921, north of Hazen to Rudolph and Mary (Reinhardt) Miller. He attended country school through eighth grade. Harold went to Wahpeton College for machining and welding for two years. He then returned home to farm with his father. Harold married Ruth Hornbacher on Nov. 29, 1942, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church north of Hazen. When the couple was first married, they lived on the Fredrich Miller farm, before moving to the present farmstead, where he followed in his father's footsteps with farming and milking cows. After Harold's parents passed away, his brother, Leslie, came to the farm to live with them. Harold was on the Cenex Board, Hazen School Board, West River Telephone Board, Church Council, Sunday school teacher, Gideons, 4-H leader and the rural Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; his daughter, Carolyn (Don) Feldman, Palermo; his son, George (Carol), Waco, Texas; his son-in-law, Alvin Will, Elgin; his daughter, Joyce (Jerry) Bloms, Minot; his son, Max (Laurie), Hazen; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice (Marlin) Bates, Burnsville, Minn.; and one brother, Leslie (Jerine), Hazen. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Marian Will; two sisters, Hertha McLaughlin and Erma Abraham; two brothers, Walter and Eldor; and one sister-in-law, Cynthia Miller.
