Family and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 between 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, June 20 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Dr. Austin Fennell officiating. Burial to follow in the Taber Memorial Garden. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Harold's name may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 210D-12A Street North, Lethbridge, Alberta T1H 2J1 or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 207,542-7 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 2H1. "God saw you getting tired, The cure was not to be. He wrapped you in his loving arms And whispered "Come with me." You suffered much in silence Your spirit did not bend You faced your pain with courage Until the very end. You tried so hard to stay with us Your fight was all in vain God took you in his loving arms And freed you from your pain. You didn't deserve what you went through, And so he gave you rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best."
