Harold served with the U.S. Army in Europe during WWII from 1944 - 1945. He married Letha Mae Aubrecht on September 10, 1945 in Lone Tree. Harold was a truck driver and a farmer in the Lone Tree area. Harold was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City and the Lone Tree American Legion Post 457. Harold enjoyed fishing, cutting wood and working around the farm. Harold will be deeply missed by one son, Gary Musser of Iowa City; two daughters, Marcia Jenner of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jo Lackender and her husband, Doug, of Iowa City; two grandchildren, Kelly Markey and her husband, Bernie, and Kimberly Lackender; one great granddaughter, Lillis Markey; three brothers, Richard Musser and his wife, Marilyn, of Solon, Larry Musser of Iowa City and John Musser and his wife, Jan, of Riverside and two sisters, Dorothy Ambrose of Coralville and Kathryn Schreiber and her husband, Donald, of Iowa City. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Letha on March 7, 2003, son-in-law, Jerry Jenner, one brother, Kenneth Musser and two sisters, Rita Havel and Evelyn Metz.
