Funeral services for Harold Zorn will be 10:30 am Tuesday at the Linn's Funeral Chapel, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls with a time of visitation and fellowship will follow the services at Linn's Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Eastlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Eldora. Harold Orval Zorn was born September 22, 1922 at Montezuma, Iowa, the son of Ethel [Hubbard] and Charlie Zorn. He attended the Montezuma Community Schools graduating with the class of 1940. Harold served with the United States Army during World War II. In 1955, Harold was united in marriage to Helen Ethel Lambdin at Iowa Falls, Iowa; they later divorced. On October 9, 1969, he was united in marriage to Marlys June Newhall at Union, Iowa. Harold was a truck driver for CRST Trucking, Cedar Rapids, Iowa for many years and drove a school bus for Iowa Falls Community Schools after retirement. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Iowa, Falls, the Hyman-Peavey American Legion Post #188, Iowa Falls, and the Meadow Hills Golf Club. Harold Zorn is survived by his children: Vic [ Mary Zorn of Williams, Iowa, Peg [Gary] Vandenbrink of Spirit Lake, Iowa, and Karen [Royce] Nichols of Hubbard, Iowa; six grandchildren: Tammy [Michael] Minor of Williams, Iowa, Cory [Sara] Zorn of Williams, Iowa, Joey [Monica] Zorn of Chaska, Minnesota, Sherri [Rob] Caruth of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Jamie Corbin of Iowa Falls, Jeremy Mersman of Ackley, Iowa; twelve great grandchildren: Tanner [Katie] Hennick of Iowa Falls, Hannah Hennick of Williams, Rylan Zorn of Williams, Brock Zorn of Williams, Joseph Hogan of Iowa Falls, Ian Zorn of Chaska, Minnesota, Isabella Zorn of Chaska, Travis Caruth of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, Bo Caruth of Iowa Falls, Riley Corbin of Iowa Falls, Kolbie Smuck of Iowa Falls, Tiffany Mersman of Ackley; and two great great grandchildren: Kendall Holzhiser of Iowa Falls, and Thailynn Hennick of Iowa Falls. He was preceded in death by his wife: Marlys Zorn; his parents: Charlie and Ethel Zorn; a granddaughter: Brenda Zorn; and two sisters: Margaret Tone and Dorothy Harbert.
