Description	:	Harold R. "Cozy" Cozad, age 83, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away July 28, 2009, at Mercy Hospital. Cozy was born May 19, 1926, in Red Oak, Iowa, to the late Ray and Carmelita (Malenburg) Cozad. He graduated from Red Oak High School in 1943, and served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II. "Cozy" Cozad, age 83, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away July 28, 2009, at Mercy Hospital. Cozy was born May 19, 1926, in Red Oak, Iowa, to the late Ray and Carmelita (Malenburg) Cozad. He graduated from Red Oak High School in 1943, and served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was past-president of the Red Oak Chamber of Commerce, worked on various projects for the Red Oak Industrial Foundation; and a member of the Red Oak Country Club. Cozy was preceded in death by his sisters, Marie Parker, Virginia Crilly; and brother, Robert Cozad. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ardith (Tate) Cozad, of Council Bluffs; sisters, Jan Beeson and husband, Don, of Red Oak, Georgia Brayman, of Omaha, Neb., and a host of other relatives and many friends. Celebration of Life Tea will be held, Thursday, August 6th from 2 to 4 p.m., at Primrose Retirement Community, 1801 E. Kanesville Blvd. Memorials are suggested to the Red Oak Country Club, C/O Ronald Mills, 1611 A Highland Ave., P.O. Box 143, Red Oak, Iowa 51566.
