Ester had died that morning. Just the day before we were working around the Sentinel business and Mrs. Ester came by with the little fellow and he seemed in the best of health. In fact she said he seemed better than usual. He has never been a real healthy baby, and he went suddenly. He would have been a year old tomorrow. He was here just long enough to entwine his little self into the hearts of his parents and grandparents, so that the parting so suddenly is indeed a terrible shock, and our hearts go out to them in their sad bereavement. There is nothing which breaks us all up than the passing of a little innocent child. Somehow we can't help but notice children and when we see them often we have some pet name or nickname for them, and get them to come back at us with something equally as good. Of course this little man was not yet old enough for that, but his brother, Kenneth, always has an answer for us. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christian church by Rev. G.W. Corporan and interment made in the Cherokee cemetery.
