Dr. Bill Hunter officiating. Mr. Damgaard was born Feb. 14, 1912, to Eric E. and Ane Helena (Beyer) Damgaard in Franklin County. He attended District 45 school in Franklin County until eighth grade. Dr. Bill Hunter officiating. Mr. Damgaard was born Feb. 14, 1912, to Eric E. and Ane Helena (Beyer) Damgaard in Franklin County. He attended District 45 school in Franklin County until eighth grade. On Aug. 25, 1943, he married Dorothy Viola Smith at her father's home near Upland. They purchased a farm near Upland. In 1972 they moved into Minden and he continued to farm until his health declined. He and his wife moved to Bethany Home in 1998. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Upland and later in Minden. Survivors are his wife; one son, Marshall of Minden; one daughter, Joyce Will of Minden; one sister, Leona Andersen of Twin Falls, Idaho; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
