He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nina; brothers and sisters, Mina and Lester Williams, Ada Fern and Ed Sargent, Donald Shearer, and Lucille and Bill Fuss; and one step-son, Ernest James Pritchard. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday July 11, 2013, at Stevens Memorial Chapel, 609 28th St., Ames. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 12, at Life Pointe Church (formerly First Assembly of God Church), 409 13th St., Ames. Burial will be in Nevada Municipal Cemetery.
