Description	:	Harold was the husband of Betty L Stark Bauer, and loving, devoted father of his only child, Cheryl Theresa Bauer Williams. His parents were Clem & Emma Bauer (both deceased), and he was the brother of Alvin Bauer (deceased), Elvera Bauer Rothermich (deceased), and Loyola Bauer. He has two grandchildren that, unfortunately, he never got the chance to meet....Shea & Jonathan Williams. Harold was a welder by trade, and was employed by Cupples Products, Inc., in St. Louis, Missouri, for over 40 years. He was a well-respected, lifelong resident of Wentzville, MO, and was very active... His parents were Clem & Emma Bauer (both deceased), and he was the brother of Alvin Bauer (deceased), Elvera Bauer Rothermich (deceased), and Loyola Bauer. Harold was a welder by trade, and was employed by Cupples Products, Inc., in St. Louis, Missouri, for over 40 years. He was a well-respected, lifelong resident of Wentzville, MO, and was very active in the community, most especially, the Wentzville Volunteer Fire Department, with whom he was a dedicated firefighter for more than 36 years. He lived and breathed for the Fire Department!!! One fond memory I will always have of Harold is that of him and his 1960's Cub Cadet tractor. He was so proud of it~always tinkering with it and shining it up~he had every attachment and accessory for it known to man!!! How he just loved that tractor! He used to ride it in parades through town, grinning from ear-to-ear, pulling a wagon behind him. Thankfully, it was able to stay in the family once Harold passed on. His grandson, Jonathan, is now the proud owner of his Grandpa's beloved Cub Cadet. I know he's smiling down from Heaven just knowing that. He was also an avid deer and duck hunter, and a bonafide basement and garage tinkerer extraordinaire!!! If he couldn't buy it, never fear, he could, and would, definitely make it from scratch! He was ALWAYS a devoted Wentzville Flea Market shopper every Sunday morning, as well, right after church services at St. Patrick's Church in Wentzville, MO. Unfortunately, not long after his retirement from Cupples Products, Harold became terminally ill. He passed away in April, 1996, after a lengthy battle with lung and bone cancer. He is sincerely missed by all of his friends and family members. Wentzville will never be the same without you, Harold. Rest in Eternal Peace..... Last call for Harold Bauer......
