Frambach ALGONA -- Harold W. Frambach, 93, died Tuesday, June 11 (1996), in the Algona Manor where he was a resident. Upper Des Moines, Thursday, June 20, 1996 Harold W. Frambach ALGONA -- Funeral service for Harold W. Frambach, 93, was conducted by the Rev. Philip J. Webb at 10a.m. Friday, June 14, in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home. Interment was in the Whittemore Township Cemetery at Whittemore. Casket bearer were Mark Rooney, Jeff Frambach, Doug Marlow, Rick Frambach, Lavanda Klengenberg and Cary Heinen. Harold W., son of Henry and Rebbecca Finnel Frambach, was born July 21, 1902 on a farm southeast of Whittemore. He attended country school except for one year when the family lived in Algona before moving to a farm northeast of Whittemore. Harold was married to Florence Parsons Aug. 21, 1923 at Fort Dodge. They farmed in the Whittemore area for a time, then northeast of Burt before moving to the family farm in Lotts Creek. They retired and moved into Algona in 1968. He was a member of the Whittemore Cooperative Elevator, enjoyed fishing and helping neighbors with mechanical repairs. Mr. Frambach died Tuesday, June 11 (1996), in the Algona Manor where he was a resident. He is survived by two sons and twin daughters, Dwight, Lone Rock; Richard, Algona; Ruby, Mrs. George Heinen and Ruth Hansen, both of Algona. There are 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Frambach died in 1995 and others who preceded him in death were his parents, a brother, Walter; son-in-law, Merlin Hansen and great-grandchild, Jackie Marlow.
