GEORGE SHOAFF: Following an operation for appendicitis, the death took place in the Lord Dufferin Hospital, Orangeville, on Thursday afternoon of last week of Harriet Ann Honey, wife of Geo. Shoaff of Andrew street, Shelburne, at the age of 49 years and 4 months. Mrs. Shoaff was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Honey, pioneer settlers of Melancthon township, and was born at Bowmanville. Shoaff of Andrew street, Shelburne, at the age of 49 years and 4 months. Mrs. Shoaff was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Honey, pioneer settlers of Melancthon township, and was born at Bowmanville. About 26 years ago she was married to Mr. Shoaff and they continued to reside at Melancthon until they moved to Shelburne about four years ago. Her illness was of comparatively short duration and her untimely death was a shock to her many friends. Besides her husband, deceased in survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robt. Berry, and an adopted son, Clarence. The funeral took place from the family residence, Andrew street, on Saturday afternoon last, interment being made in Shelburne cemetery. Rev. A. E. Owen, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated at the house and grave.
