A dinner was given in her honor and relatives from Detroit, Aftna, and Home attended. Mrs Fisher was Born 2/23/1863 near Toronto Canada. She came to Homer when she was two years old with her parents Mr and Mrs Reuben Hundey. She was married to Mr Fisher 71 years ago and they lived for four years at Alma after which they returned to this area and purchased a farm in Eckford Twp. She has two sons, Harry of South Homer, and Paul at home. A daughter Mr Frank Leyda of Marshall died seven years ago. In spite of her advanced years Mrs Fisher has been quite active until about three weeks ago when she suffered a fractured left wrist in a fall in her home. She is gaining nicely 3.
