Description	:	Monday afternoon at one o'clock the funeral of Mrs. Harriett E. Gillette, the mother of John C. Gillett of Ritzville was held at the Methodist church of this city, Mrs. Gillette died lastt Thursday morning at the home of her son, Wilford, at Aladdin Wash. The services were conducted by Rev. M. J. Perdue, pator of the church. Burial was in the Ritzville Cemetery. Harriet Elizabeth Mills was born Jan. 27, 1835 in England. She was the oldest daughter of a family of 13 children. Gillett of Ritzville was held at the Methodist church of this city, Mrs. Gillette died lastt Thursday morning at the home of her son, Wilford, at Aladdin Wash. The services were conducted by Rev. M. J. Perdue, pator of the church. Burial was in the Ritzville Cemetery. Harriet Elizabeth Mills was born Jan. 27, 1835 in England. She was the oldest daughter of a family of 13 children. At the age of nine she came to American, the family settling in Pittsfield, Ohio, Oct 27, 1844. It was here that she was married to Mr. GEORGE GILLETT and here that most of her married life was spent. To the union were born six sons, of whom four survive. Fourteen years ago Mr. Gilett died and two years later Mrs. Gillett came to Washington to reside with her son, Wilford. Death came peacefully while she was asleep, the others in the family not knowing she was gone until moning. Mrs. Gillett united early in life with the Methodist church and remained a consistent Chritian throughout her life. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons; Wilford of Aladdin, John C. of Rizville, Frank of California and Samuel of Cleveland, Ohio; also six grandchildren.
