Description	:	HARRIET HOPKINS, thirteenth child of Archibald Hopkins and seventh child of Margaret Shanklin. Cared for her father and mother as long as they lived. She was remembered by her father in his will. She was a good horsewoman and rode on the Ohio hills wherever her father could go, and that was saying much. After both father and mother had passed on to the Eternal Home, she married Noah Evans of Hillsboro, a ruling elder in the Presbyterian church in this community. Noah died on 18 July 1871, in Hillsboro, Liberty Twp., Highland Co., Ohio. Noah was married to Elizabeth Dodd Robinson Evans as she was born in November, 1795. Her mother, Jane Robinson (Carson) died December 8, 1795, very shortly after birth of Elizabeth. Elizabeth {likely born in Fayette Co., PA rather than} mentioned below at Chillicothe, Ross Co., Ohio. Elizabeth died on March 2, 1864 and buried here at Hillsboro Cemetery. Elizabeth's Parents and siblings: William Robinson born Aug 7, 1764 ob Aug 8, 1822 buried in Union Meeting house Cemetery Ross Co, OH. He & his family migrated to Ross Co, O near Chillicothe & later made a permanent settlement near Bloomingburg, Fayette Co, Ohio. Married 1 Sept 4, 1787 Jane Carson who died Dec 8, 1795 having had five children all probably born in Fayette Co, Pa. Elizabeth Dodd Robinson Evans, b Nov 1795 married Noah Evans. 2nd Marriage of Elizabeth's father, William: Married 2 Aug 29,1797 Sally Conwell Robinson, b June 6, 1772 died January 12, 1845 & buried Bloomingburg, OH, daughter of Capt William Conwell & wife Comfort Coulter of Fayette Co, Pa. They had nine children.
