She had eaten a hearty breakfast, and to all appearance, was in her usual good health. After breakfast she left her husband in the kitchen and stepped into the bedroom and laid down for a rest. A short time afterwards the six year old daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Rogers, who are close neighbors, came in and went into the bedroom. She noticed something was wrong and called Mr. Harris who stepped to the side. Her eyes were closed and she appeared to be asleep; he tried to arouse her and he then noticed she was dead. She had not been complaining and in fact her health had been unusually good. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 2 o’clock p. m. from the home. She was born in Kentucky and moved to Iowa when young. She came to Crawford county with her husband about 20 years ago, and located in the western part of the county, They have lived in Pittsburg for sixteen years. She leaves a husband and several grandchildren but their children are all dead.
