Born November 12, 1922 in New Marshfield, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Naomi "Annie" Barber Dicken. A graduate of Waterloo High School, she was employed as a secretary at Ohio University. She was a member of the Athens Church of Christ and Albany Order of Eastern Star Chapter 558. Read More	Harriett Ann "Dixie" Dicken Dinsmoor, 89, of New Marshfield, died Tuesday afternoon, July 31, 2012 at The Lindley Inn, Athens. Born November 12, 1922 in New Marshfield, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Naomi "Annie" Barber Dicken. A graduate of Waterloo High School, she was employed as a secretary at Ohio University. She was a member of the Athens Church of Christ and Albany Order of Eastern Star Chapter 558. Dixie is survived by a daughter, of Elmer, N.J.; a son, of Albany; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a daughter in law, of Amherst; a son in law, of Lodi; five sisters. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert K. Dinsmoor; a daughter, Sharon L. Johnson; a son, Robert M. Dinsmoor; and a sister, Alice Hamly. Funeral service will be conducted Sunday 2:00 pm at the Athens Church of Christ, W. Union St. Athens, officiated by Chris MacNeal, Minister. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday 5-8 pm at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens and on Sunday one hour prior to the service at the church. Albany Chapter 558 O.E.S. will hold services Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Appalachian Community Hospice, 30 Herrold Ave., Athens, Ohio 45701.
