Description	:	Mrs. Harriett Gault Bishop Howell, age 76, widow of William Miles "Bill" Howell of Union, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Physical Rehab and Wellness Center of Spartanburg after an extended illness. Mrs. Howell was born in Union, December 26, 1941, a daughter of the late Ernest Gault and Harriett Ruth Kennett Gault Potter and step-daughter of the late Charles Albert Potter. Read More	Mrs. Harriett Gault Bishop Howell, age 76, widow of William Miles "Bill" Howell of Union, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Physical Rehab and Wellness Center of Spartanburg after an extended illness. Mrs. Howell was born in Union, December 26, 1941, a daughter of the late Ernest Gault and Harriett Ruth Kennett Gault Potter and step-daughter of the late Charles Albert Potter. She was first married to the late George Gordan Bishop, Jr. Mrs. Howell was a graduate of Union High School and Cecil's Business College. She was employed as a secretary for Milliken and Co., Lockhart Plant for many years and had also worked in the Union Co. Treasurers office. She grew up a member of the First Baptist Church of Union and was later a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she participated in the choir and the Presbyterian Women. Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Ann Bishop Lambert and husband David of Spartanburg; two step-daughters: Debbie Howell Littlejohn of Jonesville and Claudia Howell Belue of Townville; a niece, Amy Bundrick and husband Jerry; a nephew, Joseph Hodges and wife Cindy all of Chapin; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cousins. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Forest Lawn Cemetery conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale.
