Description	:	H.H. Coston was a native of McDonough county, Illinois. He came to Missouri prior to the Civil War. He enlisted in the 48th Regiment Missouri Volunteer Infantry, with which he served until the close of the war. His marriage to Martha Hays occurred in Nodaway county on March 15, 1866, and after that even they went to Kansas, going to Colorado a few years later, now living at Ray (1910), that state.
