Larson, son of the late Soren C. and Katrina Larson was born on the farm December 28, 1888, where he passed away very suddenly March 4, 1944, at 9:00 a.m., at the age of 55 years 2 months and 5 days. He lived on the same farm all his life with the exception of 18 months when he owned and operated a garage and blacksmith shop in Thermopolis, Wyoming, after attending trade school in Kansas City, Missouri. He sold out there and came to take care of his parents. He was always faithful and kind to them until they both passed away within five months of each other in 1929. He built a shop and kept up his favorite work in connection with his farming for several years. On April 2, 1940, he married Mrs. Helen Lewien of Edgar, Nebraska. He leaves to mourn his early departure, his wife, Helen, and three stepsons, Leland, Wallace and Roger Lewien. Leland is serving with the Seabees of the U. S. Navy overseas. Wallace and Roger are both at home. He also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Clara York of Thermopolis, Wyoming; Mrs. Alice Youngson of Salt Lake City, Utah and Mrs. Rose Youngson of Minden, and three brothers, Louis, George and Arthur, all of Thermopolis, Wyoming. "Harry," as everyone knew him, will be greatly missed by the family and community. He was a kind and loving husband and father and was always glad to be of service to anyone who needed help. Funeral services were held from the Osco Baptist church (sic), after a prayer service at the home, on Tuesday, March 7, 1944, at 2:00 o'clock Rev. A. W.
