Born Oct. 31, 1892, he was married to Ruth Davis on May 3, 1915, in Cedar Rapids. He was with the Rock Island 42 years until his retirement. Mr. Cady was a member of Crescent Masonic Lodge, Iowa Consistory and Cedar chapter No. 184, O.E.S. Services: Beatty-Beurle funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Elmer C. Boom of Faith E.U.B. church, and Crescent Masonic Lodge. Burial: Cedar Memorial. Friends may call at the chapel after 6 p.m. Monday. All Master Masons are asked to meet with Crescent Lodge at the Masonic hall at 1 p.m. Wednesday to attend the service.
