He lived on a ranch on the Boulder until he married Ida Lokaas on September 13, 1917, in Billings, Montana. He then moved to Big Timber where he bought and operated the Clouse Transfer until 1949. When he retired in 1974 he located first in Livingston and then Big Timber. After his wife Ida passed away in 1975 he stayed with his daughter Lucille and husband and could be seen every day working and visiting with all the customers at the Frosty Freez. He entered the Pioneer Nursing Home in 1980. Harry was a very special person who touched the hearts of everyone with his thoughtfulness and kindness. He was a member of the Big Timber Volunteer Fire Department a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Steppers Club. Mr. and Mrs. Clouse celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1967. Survivors include his son, Harold Clouse of Kennewick, WA; four daughters; Mrs. A. C. (Dorothy) Brumfield of Reed Point, Mrs. Jack (Margaret) Collings of Livingston, Mrs. Rudoloh (Alice) Mosness, and Mrs. Arnold (Lucille) Mosness, both of Big Timber, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
