Harry was born December 22, 1928 in Chambers, Nebraska to Harry M. and Alice (Roy) Granger. Harry grew up around the Cedar Rapids area. He was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Korean War where he was stationed in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. Harry married Jeannette Williams September 16, 1956 at North Loup, NE. He was a propane truck driver for Fremont Farmers Union Co-op, until he retired in 1990. He was a member of FOE # 200 in Fremont, NE. He is survived by his wife, Jeannette of Ames; daughter, Jerri (John) Starlin of Fremont; sons, Tom (Jeanette) Granger of Omaha, Bill (Mary) Granger of North Bend, Andy (Linda) Granger of Fremont, John (Julie) Granger of Council Bluffs, IA; sisters Karen Carr of Pierce, NE and Carol (Bob) Glass of Lancaster, CA; brothers, Gerald (Janet) Granger of Lincoln, NE, Richard(Delores)Granger of Newman Grove, NE; 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Daniel Granger; sisters, Joellyn Granger and Shirley Battershaw; brothers, Leo and Ed Granger. Memorials may be directed to the North Bend Veterans Memorial Park or the North Bend Mat Cats Wrestling Club. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 6, 2017 at Bluffs Trinity Lutheran Church, north of Fremont, NE. Pastor Sean Tyler will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont and continue one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont, NE. Military honors conducted by the Fremont Honor Guard of V.F.W. Post #854 and American Legion Post #20." Moser Memorial Chapel, 2170 N.
