Description	:	Harry Edward, son of Cassimer and Mary Lorenz, was born near Bakersville, Ohio, February 19, 1881 and passed away at the University hospital, Iowa City, Iowa on October 19, 1951 at the age of 70 years and 8 months. He was the next to the youngest of 17 children, 7 of them being half brothers and sisters of which none are living. As a boy he was a member of the German Lutheran church at Bakersville. Read More	Harry Edward, son of Cassimer and Mary Lorenz, was born near Bakersville, Ohio, February 19, 1881 and passed away at the University hospital, Iowa City, Iowa on October 19, 1951 at the age of 70 years and 8 months. He was the next to the youngest of 17 children, 7 of them being half brothers and sisters of which none are living. As a boy he was a member of the German Lutheran church at Bakersville. He spent his early life in Ohio and in 1903 he came to Iowa where he was a blacksmith and carpenter. Due to ill health he retired two years ago. On March 12, 1909 he was united in marriage to Bertha Abrell of Kirkman. To this union, two children were born, Opal now of Harlan and Bruce of Manilla. Survivors are his wife; two children; two sisters, Mrs Emma Stein of Fresno, Ohio and Mrs Ella Davis of Isleta, Ohio; three brothers, Charles of West Lafayette, Ohio, Fred of Akron, Ohio and Will of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and many nieces, nephews and friends. His father, mother and 4 sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at the Schack Funeral Home, October 22 with Rev. Anders Hansen of Elk Horn officiating. Mr. Thomas Westrope, Jr. sang, accompanied by Janet Schack. Interment was in the Harla cemetery. Pall bearers were August Frank, Lloyd Croft, Niels Mork, Harry Petersen, C.O. Patterson and Edward Ferry.
