Read More	Fremont Tribune, Fremont, NE - Tue, 6 June 1944 Harry N. Holmburg, 52, of Fremont, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday at an Omaha hospital where he had been confined for three weeks. He had been in failing health for the last five months. He was born in Ithaca November 19, 1891, where he lived for some time before moving to a farm with his parents near Raymond. He attended the country schools there. On July 3, 1915, he was married to Miss Cora Tobin of Raymond. After their marriage they resided at Raymond until 1916 when they moved to Fremont. He was employed at the Chicago and North Western freight depot for one year and then worked at the city light plant for two years. The Holmburgs then moved to a farm near Raymond where they remained for about two-and-a-half years and then came back to a farm east of Fremont where they had since resided. Mr. Holmburg was a member of the school board of District 37 and justice of the peace of Elkhorn township. He was a member of the Sinai Lutheran church and was treasurer of the church brotherhood. Surviving are his wife, one son, Glen A. Holmburg, Clay Center, Kan.; his mother, Mrs. Christine Holmburg, Fremont, who is 90 years old; four brothers, Nels, Leonard and Ernest, all of Fremont, and Arthur of Shelton; and three sisters, Mrs. P. H. Larson and Ella Holmburg, both of Fremont, and Mrs. Emma Theisen, Lincoln. One sister, one brother, a son and his father preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Sinai Lutheran church. Burial is to be in Ridge cemetery. The body is at the Fred Bader funeral home. www.newspapers.com
