(Trone) Forry to whom he was married 54 years. The funeral service for Bill will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Greenmount United Methodist Church, 4242 Greenmount Church Road, Glen Rock, with his pastor, the Rev. Richard W. Lowe, officiating. Viewings will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Irwin Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service. He will be laid to rest in Jefferson Cemetery. Born January 21, 1928, in Highmount, York Co., Harry was one of eight children born to the late Harry N., Sr. and B. Elizabeth (Hershey) Forry. Bill was a respected business owner in the Jefferson area for over 30 years. He owned and operated Forry's, Inc., including Forry's Transportation Service and Forry's Exxon in Jefferson Borough. He was also the owner of Codorus Egg Farms during the 1950's. Bill was a United States Army Veteran and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. Bill was a faithful member of Greenmount United Methodist Church and previously served as a church trustee. He served the Jefferson community for several years as Assistant Fire Chief for the Jefferson Fire Co. and served on the Carnival Committee. Bill was a member of the Garagemen's Association of York Co., and the Jefferson Brothers of the Brush. He was also a member of the Spring Grove Post #5265 VFW. In addition to his wife, Gladys, Bill will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Cindy Jenkins Kinney of Columbus, Ga., and Tami Wolf Barley and her husband, Steve of York; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, and Jenna Leigh Jenkins, Sarah Wolf, and Megan, Bryan, and Marisa Barley; a brother, John Forry of York; and five sisters, Gertrude Bish of Dover, Gladys Altland of Stoverstown, Idella Sponseller of Hampton, Adams Co., and Evelyn Zartman and Delores Rehymyer, both of York. He will also be missed by two special sons-in-law, Jeff Jenkins of Columbus, Ga., and Jeff Wolf of York. Bill was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Snyder in 1997.
