Born April 1, 1931 in Massena, Iowa, he was the son of Alonzo Hoyt and Mary (Keith) Hoyt. Harry worked as a boiler tender for the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Harvey Hoyt; and one sister, Hazel Chatterton. He is survived by his wife, Cecelia Hoyt of the home; five children: Mickey Hoyt of Siloam Springs, Marty Hoyt of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Matthew Hoyt and wife Bonnie of Siloam Springs, Martha Nelson and husband Charles of Siloam Springs, and Marshall Hoyt and wife Marilyn of Siloam Springs; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one half-sister, Beverly of Shenandoah, Iowa. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with Mr. Tom Cats officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Wasson Funeral Home. Burial will be, Monday, March 14, 2016 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Wichita, Kansas.
