Read More	Harry William Barnett, age 94, was born January 18, 1925, at Lamoni, Iowa to Harry Clay and Florence Marie (Horner) Barnett. He departed this life on July 26, 2019, at Lamoni Specialty Care in Lamoni, Iowa. He was baptized and confirmed into the R.L.D.S. Church on April 21, 1957. On May 26, 1946, Bill married Normalea Gail Fisher at Troy, Kansas. They spent 73 wonderful years together making memories and cherishing each other. Bill grew up farming with his father in Lamoni and retired from farming on the same century farm. During his working years, he held several positions in sales, worked at the physical plant for Graceland University, and spent many happy years at the local lumberyards. He enjoyed meeting new people and was actively involved in political endeavors, the Audubon Society, and his beloved Angus Association. Bill spent his last few years residing at the care center in Lamoni. Surviving him are his children, Danny Wayne Barnett of Lamoni, Joy Lynn Miller of Camdenton, Missouri, Maurice Lee Barnett of Lamoni, Melanie Jo Lane and husband, Stanton, of Lamoni, and Leslie William Barnett and wife, Letitia, of Eldora, Iowa; 16 grandchildren, Leyla Barnett, Lori, Eric, and Chad Hindes, Ashley Miller, Jason, Trenton, and Linessa Barnett, Tisha, Brandon, Amber, and Gina Lane, and Amber, Aaron, Adam, and Amie Barnett; 39 great grandchildren; and five great, great grandchildren; brother, Raymond & Carol Fisher; brother-in-law, Dwayne Drummond; sister-in-law, Lohre Fisher; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Family preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Norma, 12 days earlier; sisters and their husbands, Lucille and Clay Ballantyne and Winsome and Jess Jackson; son-in-law, Chuck Miller; grandsons, Shane Barnett and Cedric Barnett; and great grandson, Logan Gilliland. Bill enjoyed reading, playing cards, being outdoors at the farm, and spending time with his family. He liked to travel, study history, and share his excitement with his friends and family. He was a truly selfless man, always putting his family and others first. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He left this life much as he lived it, quietly and with dignity.
