Description	:	Harvey Beyer, age 99 of Minot formerly of Bottineau, died Friday at his home. Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Burial will be at the Oak Creek Cemetery in Bottineau. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Burial will be at the Oak Creek Cemetery in Bottineau. Harvey Beyer, a son of Frank and Mary (Jeske) Beyer, was born on July 6, 1913 at Bottineau. He was reared on farm near Omemee and later graduated from Omemee High School. Following high school he went to work for the Civilian Conservation Corps and then returned to the family farm. He moved into Bottineau in 1941 and began working at the Bottineau Creamery. He entered the US Navy on October 2, 1943 and he served with the Seabees in many troubled areas until receiving his honorable discharge on December 12, 1945. He returned to Bottineau and continued working at the creamery. On March 1, 1947, he married Raynhild "Tena" Olson at Minot. He retired from creamery in 1974. That same year, he began working at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. He continued to work at Nero Funeral Home until July of 2008 when they moved to Minot. Harvey was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Bottineau where he served on the church council. He was also a member of the Bottineau American Legion and the Eagles Club. He is survived by his wife, Tena of Minot; one son, Ronald Beyer and his wife, Twila of Deltona, FL; 4 grandchildren, Jered of Chicago; Kristen of Chicago, Ryan (Kayla) of Hanover, MN and Tatiana of Deltona, FL; five great-grandchildren, Brett, Jordan, Kira, Kaiden and Kaiah; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sister, Selma, Elsie and Louisa; 4 brothers, Arthur, Ervin, Robert and Milton and one grand daughter-in-law; Lana. Arrangements were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.
