Co., near Nye, in Stillwater county. Death was due to being hit by a falling tree. Co., near Nye, in Stillwater county. Death was due to being hit by a falling tree. The company is engaged in opening and developing a new chromium mine there and Cook was engaged with the crew getting out mining timbers. Mr. Cook moved his family there last October. Full particulars of the accident had not up to yesterday been received in Choteau, this considerably due to the fact that Mrs. Cook and the children were in quarantine for scarlet fever at the time and none could come. Harvey had just been released from quarantine and gone back to work. He was born Nov. 22, 1909 and had spent the greater portion of his life in Choteau, following outdoor work on ranches, in the mountains, etc., and also did some carpentering. He was married to Miss Marietta Maul of Bynum about 1928, and four children were born to the union: Mary, 12, William, 10, Alzora, 9, and James, 8. All with their mother survive. Other survivors in addition to his mother are, three sisters, Mrs. Harold Norris of Fort Shaw, Mrs. Clifford Blixrud of Choteau and Mrs. Elmer White of Big Sandy; and three brothers, George of Bremerton, Wash., James of Choteau, and Seth of the U.S. Army at Camp Gruber, Oklahoma. All the brothers and sisters arrived for the funeral. It was held Tuesday from St. Joseph's church in Choteau. Interment was in the family plot in the local cemetery. Many expressions of sympathy have gone to the bereaved widow and children in their hour of sorrow and tragic loss.
