Description	:	OAKLAND,MARYLAND -- Harvey Merritt Riley, age 79, of 960 Dennett Road, Oakland, died on Friday, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland. He was born July 22, 1918, in Oakland, and was a son of the late Albert Otis Riley and Cora (Dellinger) Riley. Mr. Riley was a retired automobile dealer, having been in partnership with the Ray Teets Garage and later Oakview Motors. He was a member of the 1935 graduating class of Oakland High School, and a 50-year member of Garrett Lodge #113 Knights of Pythias. He was also a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He was born July 22, 1918, in Oakland, and was a son of the late Albert Otis Riley and Cora (Dellinger) Riley. Mr. Riley was a retired automobile dealer, having been in partnership with the Ray Teets Garage and later Oakview Motors. He was a member of the 1935 graduating class of Oakland High School, and a 50-year member of Garrett Lodge #113 Knights of Pythias. He was also a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Edith (Lee) Riley; one son, Elbert Loraine Riley, Rockville; two daughters, Delores Raynovich, and Sharon Grant, both of Mountain Lake Park; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Durst Funeral Home, Oakland, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Garrett Lodge #113 will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Monday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at Bethel United Methodist Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Hickman officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family requests memorials be directed to the Bethel United Methodist Church Building Fund or to the Southern Garrett Rescue Squad.
