Description	:	Harvey William Beaver was born March 18, 1865, near Plattsmouth, Neb. He departed this life Tuesday, Oct. 9, 1928, at his home, 3154 Y street, at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 21 days. His boyhood and early manhood days were spent near Plattsmouth. He departed this life Tuesday, Oct. 9, 1928, at his home, 3154 Y street, at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 21 days. His boyhood and early manhood days were spent near Plattsmouth. On March 6, 1893, he was united in marriage with Miss Olie Andrews, at his old home. To this union three children were born: Mrs. Luelle Preston of Oklahoma City, Wilson H. Beaver of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Norene Clark of Houston, Tex. Mr. Beaver and family moved from Plattsmouth to Elmwood, Neb. where they made their home for about fourteen years. In 1916, the family moved to Lincoln, and the family home has been here since that time. Mr. Beaver was a quiet, unassuming man, taking great interest in his family, his home and in the better things in the community. While living at Elmwood he united with the Christian church, and has been a faithful member of the Christian church since that time. At the time of his death he was a member of the East Lincoln Christian church. He will be greattly missed in home and community. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, Mrs. H. W. Beaver, of Lincoln; his daughter, Mrs. Luella Preston of Oklahoma City; his son, Wilson H. Beaver of Oklahoma City; his daughter, Mrs. Norene Clarke of Houston, Tex. a brother, John Beaver of Casper, Wyo., and one sister, Mrs. Alice Pennington of Plainview, Neb. He also leaves five grandchildren, and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the Helmsdoerfer Funeral home Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Rev. W. H. Hill, pastor of the East Lincoln Christian church, was in charge of the services. The body was taken to Elmwood for burial.
