She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels for over 30 years. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James Thomas Bruce, Harold Tinsley Bruce and David Cromer Bruce; and six sisters, twins Ellen Bruce and Helen Hardin, Iola Gable, Claris Gillespie, Mary McPhail and Doris Lorey.
