Description	:	Hazel Florence Will was born September 21, 1918 to Jay and Florence (Jones) Will on the family farm in Brule County, SD. She attended country school for eight years and graduated from Kimball High School in 1936. After high school, she worked for five years for the AAA Office in Chamberlain saving money to attend Nettleton Commercial College in Sioux Falls, SD. Returning home after the war, she was united in... Read More	Hazel Florence Will was born September 21, 1918 to Jay and Florence (Jones) Will on the family farm in Brule County, SD. She attended country school for eight years and graduated from Kimball High School in 1936. After high school, she worked for five years for the AAA Office in Chamberlain saving money to attend Nettleton Commercial College in Sioux Falls, SD. While there she worked for the USO and helped at the air base. Hazel served during WWII as a Pharmacist's Mate Third Class in the U.S. Navy Hospital Corps. Returning home after the war, she was united in marriage to Norman Fuegen on September 21, 1946 in Kimball, SD where they farmed, milked cows, and clerked for the sales at the Kimball Livestock. They moved to the Reliance area in 1948 where they farmed and ranched on the NF Quarter Circle Ranch. In February 1952, twins Larry and Lynn Ette were born. Hazel looked forward to calving season, raised lots of chickens, bottle calves, and loved working in her flowers, garden, and yard. She valued her family and friends and always enjoyed good conversation. Hazel was a member of the Reliance American Legion Auxiliary and the Christ Episcopal Church in Chamberlain. Norman and Hazel traveled throughout the United States and Canada, attending art shows with Norman's bronze western sculptures. In January 2003, Norman and Hazel moved to Regency Retirement Assisted Living in Chamberlain. Hazel passed away on June 27, 2015 at Sanford Chamberlain Medical Center at the age of 96 years. Gratefully sharing her life are her children Larry Fuegen and wife Linda of Prescott, AZ and Lynn Ette Larsen and husband Rod of Kimball, SD; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Paul Fuegen and wife Carol of Dubuque, IA; and three sisters-in-law Dorothy Beschta of Duluth, MN, Deloris Fuegen of Wessington Springs, SD, and Gladys Fuegen of Kimball, SD. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Norman; her sister Cora Jones and husband Kenneth; two brothers Clifford and wife Altas and Rolland and wife Beulah; two sisters-in-law Helen McGregor and Leona Tripp and husband Eber; four brothers-in-law Walter Fuegen and wife Loretta, Jack Fuegen, David Fuegen, and Clarence Beschta.
