Mrs. Flowers was born in Conway, a daughter of the late B.C. "Buddy" Jordan and Nettie Skipper Jordan. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and prior to retirement, she was employed by the Horry County Council on Aging. Mrs. Flowers was predeceased by her first husband, Waterman Stanley Grainger, Sr., one daughter, Nettie Ruth Lawson, seven brothers and sisters, Dottie Hughes, Claude Jordan, Leona Jordan, Dorothy Mae Hardee, Danette Osborne, Hoyt Jordan and Carl Jordan. Surviving are two sons, Waterman Stanley Grainger, Jr. and his wife, Wanda and Wesley Grainger all of Conway, two daughters, Lenora G. Tindal and her husband, Ricky and Angelia Flowers-Bellamy all of Conway, one son-in-law, Gene Lawson of Conway, ten grandchildren, Scott Lawson, Candy Lawson, Christopher Grainger, Timothy Grainger, Sunnie Grainger, Charlie Tindal, Holly Tindal, Rudy Tindal, Jessie Hernandez Stevens and Ashley Flowers, nine great-grandchildren, one sister, Annie Faye Jayroe and her husband, Edwin of Georgetown and two step-children, Marilyn Grainger Cooper and her husband, Don and Tillman Archie Flowers all of Conway. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Swilley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 Pm until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
