Read More	LEVY, Hazel Lerena - 86, New Ross, died Saturday, December 9, 2006, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in New Ross, Hazel was a daughter of the late St. Clair and Minnie (Hirtle) Leopold. She was a long-time member of New Ross Baptist Church and last surviving member of her immediate family. Hazel was a very spiritual person and her faith guided her life from beginning to end. She faced her many years of illness with dignity and courage and for the past six years was faithfully cared for in her own home by the love of her grandson Wade and his wife Debbie. She sincerely loved little children. Hazel was a stay-at-home mother who devoted her energy to working side by side with her husband maintaining their family home and farm. A supportive and beloved mother, she was a constant inspiration to her four surviving children, daughters, Ella Mae Hennigar, Chester Grant; Rhoda Veinot and Wilma Russell, both of New Ross; and son, Harley (Marjorie), New Ross; half-sisters, Frances Carver and Rosalie Leopold, both of Bridgewater; half-brothers, Stanley, Ellershouse, Hants Co.; Arnold Leopold, New Ross, and Burleigh, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Brady (Sharon) Hennigar, Wade (Debbie) Levy, Michael Russell, Marnie (Adam) Connors, Kimber (Paula) Levy, Sandra (Kelly) Countway; great-grandchildren, Robie and William Hennigar, Heidi Levy, Mackenzie and Emma Rae Connors, Drake and Bailey Countway. She was predeceased by husband, Robie; sisters, Mary, Florence, Sadie, Jessie, and Violet; half-sister, Helen; brothers, Otis, Daniel, Herman, and Harvey. Visitation Tuesday 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in Davis Funeral Home, Chester. The body will be transferred to New Ross Baptist Church on Thursday for visitation at 1 p.m. followed by funeral service at 2 p.m., Pastor David Hine officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Ross Baptist Church Restoration Fund or New Ross Volunteer Fire Department. Special thanks to the home care workers, Victorian Order of Nurses and Lunenburg County Palliative Care.
