She was married to Elmer J. Faux on Feb. 17, 1921 at Estherville. She had lived in Des Moines the past one and a half years, had farmed near Casey for 25 years and lived in Patterson for 20 years. She was a member of the Patterson WSCS, a member of the United Methodist Church at Patterson and had been active in 4-H leadership for many years. Survivors include her husband; a son, Edwin of Des Moines; daughters, Elsie May Philip of Havelock, Florence MacVey of Rolfe and Doris Kingery of Des Moines; brothers, Dean of Emmetsburg, Fred of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Russell of Swaledale; sisters, Theo. Forsyth of Redwood Falls, Minn., and Ila Faux of Rockaway Beach, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters
