Description	:	Seneca, SC – Hazel Ruth Rochester Knight, wife of Melvin Knight of Seneca, SC, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Knight was the daughter of the late Edward Rochester and Lois Murphy Hawkins. She was retired from department store retail management and was a member of Bounty Land Church of God, where she was Sunday school superintendent for the past ten years. Read More	Seneca, SC – Hazel Ruth Rochester Knight, wife of Melvin Knight of Seneca, SC, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Knight was the daughter of the late Edward Rochester and Lois Murphy Hawkins. She was retired from department store retail management and was a member of Bounty Land Church of God, where she was Sunday school superintendent for the past ten years. She was also director of a senior group, the "Goodtimers". In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Alan Knight of Augusta, GA; brother, Kenneth Rochester and his wife, Annette, of Seneca, SC; and sisters, Ann Thornhill and her husband, Jim, of Greer, SC and Kathy Barnett and her husband, Ron, of Easley, SC; brother-in-law, Jim Kuerth of Seneca, SC; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Knight was predeceased by sister, Joan Kuerth. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Bounty Land Church of God, with burial to follow in Oconee Memorial Park. There will be no public viewing, however, the family will receive friends from 1 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at church.
