Mrs. Horne was born in Union, SC on November 11, 1939 a daughter of the late William Porter and Josie Belk Porter Fowler. She was a member of Mt. Joy Baptist Church. Mrs. Horne was born in Union, SC on November 11, 1939 a daughter of the late William Porter and Josie Belk Porter Fowler. She was a member of Mt. Joy Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Pamela H. McDonald and husband Jerry of Union; a son, Donald Ray Horne and wife Debra of Jonesville; two granddaughters, Rebecca Horne and Rachel Brewington and husband Michael; a very special person, Pat Harmon of Jonesville; two sisters, Nancy Clayton and husband Bobby and Betty Dabbs all of Jonesville. Mrs. Horne was predeceased by a brother Bud Porter. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Porter Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Ralph Brown and Rev. Alan West. The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Pamela and Jerry McDonald, 2512 Jonesville Lockhart Highway, Union and they would like to extend to a special thank you to Heartland Hospice.
